Hi,
Before reading this post please read http://logicalscienceandliving.blogspot.com/2011/10/first-post.html first.
I hope that you got my point from the first post. If you have stopped and thought about giving money to a beggar, then you have to think a bit more before you follow this.
Now you come to the people in your daily life.
Your friend that drank with you on your 18th birthday party. Do you care about that friend?
Lets say he/she comes up to you today and asks you for some money, say $1000, would you give it to him/her? or would you hesitate?
The problem is that you care. Probably not that much but you do, however little that affection is.
Try and get rid of that. If you would never ever lend $1000 to a person on the street, then why would you do it to a person that you don't even know for so many years? The answer is that you shouldn't . You know why?
Because it means loss. And loss is something that no one likes. No matter what people think of you, the might say that you are inhumane or something, but that's how its supposed to be because it spells LOGIC.
Why would I do something that doesn't benefit me in any way? You might say that it will benefit you because you will feel happy inside, but you won't because a $1000 is way more valuable than your happiness from a 20 year old friend that came to that party only to take those few shots of tequilla.
Apply the same logic to your colleagues. Don't have any pity on them if they are wrong. If you have to take action then do it. If that person is your boss then explain slowly, but don't scream at him/her. If you feel that you will be better off by leaving the job then give him/her a nice scolding and then leave the job, because no matter what you do, you can always get another job.
